Made one at a time from fine silver (.999) and solid 22kt gold, no two are alike. Based on the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi,  which literally means the golden journey where broken pottery and other precious objects are repaired with gold to accentuate the cracks, mishaps and breaks that often happen with use. The broken object is made stronger, more interesting and more beautiful than it was to start. This is what happens to our hearts when we experience the big and small setbacks and heartbreaks in life. We are never the same, we are stronger, more insightful and compassionate. This special piece is created entirely by hand and goes through many steps of forming, breaking, mending, firing & polishing resulting in a heart that is beautiful, unique and rich in meaning.
